The Parents Visit and Bring a New Tittie Cat Graves

April 5th, 2009 by misadventuresofmarla

It has been over a month, again, since I have posted anything. I assure you all that I have the intentions frequently to post things…I just never seem to get to it. Procrastination is the story of my life. Anyway, on to updates…

Jeremy’s parents visited from March 09 – March 19th. It was fun. They brought us a lovely little 5 month old kitten named Graves. Jeremy’s Brother Christ-Off and his family (Kelly, David, and Michaela) “adopted” Graves when he followed Michaela and a friend home from the bus stop. Sadly, they are not allowed to have pets. So, Jeremy and I have adopted the biting, hissing, scratching, little bundle of joy. He is a wonderful addition to the family, although Tittie Boy and Tittie Girl strongly disagree, and we love him very much.

Graves, or Tittie-Graves as we call him, is much like having a toddler in the house. He gets into and on top of everything, he loves and wants nothing more than to be held all day, he fights terribly with his new siblings, and he is learning to do things like open cabinets – cat food containers with his head – and crawl up the wall towards the door knob when he wants into a closed off room.

Should Christ-Off, Kelly, and kids ever have the opportunity to have pets, we will of course be returning him. For now, he is happily at home with us pestering the titties.

Speaking of Titties, Jeremy has posted some new videos of the three titties for all your viewing pleasure. Graves will also be making his first film debut on one of those videos.

Back to the parents visit now. We were planning a trip with Randy and Marilyn to the Outer Banks as I posted a while ago. That would have happened if the van had not blown it’s engine on the way down. Luckily, we were only about 45 minutes ago from home when it happened. We spent the next few hours of that day at AAA car care center in Greensboro where we found out they would charge $6,500, not including labor, to put in a new engine. Naturally, the van will be junked and we went on a search for a “new” vehicle. Which only took 3 rain soaked days to find. Another Dodge Caravan. This one is much newer, 1996, and is sleek and black. Every time I see it I think of the FBI parked outside somebody house doing surveillance. It just has a “secretive” look to it.

So, with the Outer Banks cancelled we took his parents to a flea market, out to dinner, an antique shop, bookstores, thrift stores, Andy Griffeth’s Mayberry NC, and a few other places. It was a laid back and fun visit.

This was taken when Randy and Marilyn were leaving to go back to PA. It was early in the morning and Jeremy and I got little sleep. Yes, I look like hell.
