To get your numerology number you add up your birthdate as follows:

Using my birthday as an example –

10(month)+14(day)+1+9+8+4(year)=46

Your goal is to get a single digit. So I have to add 4+6 = 10

Still a double digit so again, I add those together. 1+0= 1
