I shaved my balls for this?

We haven’t really been up to much lately.

We bought a circular saw and some sheets of plywood and have been cutting and nailing a floor to our crawlspace attic. We have to cut the sheets into really small pieces to get them up there. The access panel is a 2ftx2ft opening in the hallway ceiling and no steps. So we climb on a step ladder to get into it. Its small but we’re hoping to store some misc shit up there IF we can fit the boxes through the opening. They made the access panel smaller for some reason when they remodeled the house.

Damn southerners. They don’t have basements, they have crawlspaces. They don’t have attics, they have crawlspaces. They don’t have houses, they have cottages or bungalows. At least, all this was true of all the houses we looked at. Bungalow, they should just state the obvious: I live in a modern shack! I really don’t understand how the hell they fit so many people in their shacks either. There always seems to be 10 people to many living in a small “cottage” here. The family that owned our house previously had 6 people living here. WHERE, I would like to know. Its 900 sq ft. The kitchen takes up most of the house. ( And the kitchen isn’t all the big, so that is really sad.) I really hate this house. I hate tiny houses period. I’m really surprised that many people in the south don’t understand adequate living space. I’m still shocked that we could not find a house bigger than our apartment. (Our apartment was only 1200 sq ft.)

Aside from house projects, I’ve been “testing” out some online money making things. I won’t go into that yet because I’m just “testing” so  I have do idea if they are worth mentioning or not. I have been thinking about creating another blog for this purpose though. A blog where Jeremy and I can post about all the make money online things we have tried, give our opinions, whether it worked or not, have much (if any) we made, and then a link to that website. Also, I’d list all the websites and blogs with excellent money making information. No scam shit, of course. I’m not sure I’ll do that yet though.

I’m jugging a few blogs at the moment and do not want to overload myself. They are all niche blogs on subjects I’m very into so I’m going to keep focused on them for a while to see if I can turn a profit on them, and because I enjoy their subjects. But I won’t lie, the money is key right now. Being unemployed and antisocial, blog ads are awesome if you can figure out the right technique for making good money and enjoying what you blog about. (for niche blogs) So, as I said, right now I’m just “testing” the niche blog water to see what happens. If anything comes of it, you will all know.

As for my crafting, its slow right now. I haven’t really created anything. Lots of ideas but nothing going on. I haven’t set aside any time for my crafting in weeks. Again, I think later on I’ll move my crafts to their own blog but not for a bit yet. Evenually, I want to make misadventuresofmarla.com strictly at personal blog with no extras. Just my thoughts, ideas, and shit like that. My crafts will have their own home, as will my herbal interests, gardening I’ll be doing next year, and so on. I want to break up all my “endevors” into their spaces. Hopefully that will make for less crowded blogs.

The cats are doing great. Its a shame they had to adjust to running around a much smaller place but they’ve made up for that. They have decided to continue to disreguard our rules of no cats in the lower kitchen cabinets, on the kitchen counters, stove, computer desk, printer, island,  toilet, kitchen and bathroom sink, and washer/dryer. Poor things.
