Bloodgood Japanese Maple, Apple Tree, and Nectarine

August 14th, 2008 by misadventuresofmarla

Our Bloodgood Japanese Maple tree is slowly returning to life! I won’t go into too much detail about the trees since Jeremy has posted about them already. ( See here ) I did however want to post a few pictures showing its new blooms coming in. Hopefully it will make a nice recovery from being shocked, scorched, and living in hard red clay soil. ( And having us as caretakers! We’re not the best gardeners but we try.)

The nectarine tree is doing great so far. Its the crooked tree Jeremy is standing by.

The Apple is doing much better. We had a problem with Apple scab and all the leaves looked like this:

I think we have successfully saved it, all the leaves now look awesome!

Now as long as the drought doesn’t get worse, I think they’ll be okay.

Do you enjoy this blog? Feel free to thank me with a cup of coffee or tea! Amount is up to you.
