Custom Spiked Cock Ring & eyelet bracelet

April 4th, 2010 by misadventuresofmarla

I’ve been busy busy since the weather has been nice. Gardening as well as other projects. One thing I was working on is a custom cock ring for a gentleman who saw some of my leather work and commissioned me to do some things for him. It was a pleasure to work with him. It was also nice being able to sell something that was supposed to be a hobby.

I decided to post some pictures of the in progress and finished spiked cock ring. It is made of vegan leather, called lorica. It is flexible, animal free, as well as washable. Which was perfect for this project. The cock ring measures 3/4″ wide and 5 1/16″ long. The spikes are 5/8″ nickel plated cone spikes hand sharpened to a point. The eyelets are 1/4″ nickel.

Our New Gevalia Coffee Pot and Accessories

February 27th, 2010 by misadventuresofmarla
Gevalia

Big box of Gevalia goodies

A couple weeks ago we got an offer in the mail to try out Gevalia’s coffee. We decided to give it a shot in order to get a new coffee pot. The one we bought a few months ago takes forever to brew. The introductory offer was $10 for two half pounds of coffee, free shipping, and free gifts. Sounded like a good deal plus, some of their coffee isn’t too expensive. Around $6/pound. I think shipping is around $5/shipment. We also liked that you can control the frequency of the shipments. You can get coffee delivered every week, or every two weeks, all the way up to 6 months between shipping. We set our plan up for 1 box of coffee every 6 weeks. Another thing I really like about Gevalia is the online account management. You can set up your future shipments dates online and then customize what you would like included. I like that you don’t have to order coffee every time, you can order tea too. Also, I like that you can vary the amount you get each shipment. It seems really nice so far.

Our first shipment arrived pretty quick, here is what we got for $10!
